The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at A New Day Behavioral Health Services offers a structured level of care for individuals managing substance use disorders, mental health conditions, or co-occurring challenges. IOP is recommended for individuals who do not require medically supervised detox but still need consistent therapeutic support. This program allows participants to receive treatment while continuing to live at home, making it a practical option for those balancing work, school, or family responsibilities.
Our IOP provides a solid path forward after detox or inpatient care, allowing individuals to begin rebuilding their lives in their own community from the very beginning of treatment. Participants engage in therapy multiple times per week without leaving their home environment, helping them strengthen relationships, reconnect with themselves, and maintain stability.
Therapeutic services are offered primarily in a group setting, with each client also assigned an individual therapist to meet with weekly. Group sizes are intentionally kept small—no more than 15 participants—to ensure a focused and supportive experience. Sessions cover a wide range of behavioral health topics relevant to recovery, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention.
Our treatment focus areas include:
- Relapse Prevention Techniques
- Managing Cravings and Emotional Triggers
- Understanding Addiction and Its Progression
- Exploring the Twelve Steps and Spiritual Growth
- Behavioral Health Education and Stages of Change
- Dual Diagnosis and Co-Occurring Disorder Management
- Family Education and Relationship Healing
Eligibility
Eligibility for IOP is based on a clinical and medical assessment completed during the intake process. Each treatment plan is personalized to meet the individual’s needs, ensuring the right balance of structure, therapy, and support for sustained recovery.
